AngioVue – SD-OCT AVANTI XR
With a number of 70.000 A Scans per second, AngioVue is the fastest and latest SPECTRAL Domain OCT. Also the only device that captures the dynamic motion of the erythrocytes (red blood cells) and allows a 3D visualization of the vasculature of the retina.

This device is the first optical biometer providing accurate and fast measurements of the axial length, cornea keratometries, Anterior chamber depth calculation and it can be used to provide the intraocular possible lenses that a cataract-surgeon needs in a variety of A-constants.
Endothelial Cell Count KONAN SP-4000
This device is used to evaluate the endothelial cells in number and shape whenever this is necessary. It is used mostly prior cataract surgeries, when there is a suspicious change in the cornea thickness and where inheritance cornea diseases appear.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
Intense pulsed light (IPL) is a technology used by cosmetic and medical practitioners to perform various skin treatments for aesthetic and therapeutic purposes. IPL is also used in ophthalmology, to treat evaporative dry eye disease due to meibomian gland dysfunction and lately to treat a variety of retinal conditions including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy and possibly others. This is also known as low level laser therapy, Photobiomodulation (PBM).
KXL 2 – Avedro
The KXL II System performs a procedure called PiXL™ (Photorefractive Intrastromal Cross-Linking) which has the potential to deliver non-surgical correction of myopia, and improve cataract surgery outcomes. OCT RTVue 100 (OCT-Optovue)
This device provides ocular disease diagnosis from the anterior segment to the choroid. RTVue is an ultra-high speed, high resolution optical coherence tomography (OCT) retina, optic disc and anterior segment scanner. The ultra-high speed and high resolution features enable the FD-OCT to visualize the retinal tissue with ultra-high clarity in a fraction of seconds, including dense 3D cubes of data that can be dissected to visualize individual retinal layers in an en face view, and thickness maps with normative comparison. It also gives physicians assess to the nerve fiber layer thickness, ganglion cell complex thickness, and a range of parameters on the optic disc. Anterior segment OCT further gives you the ability to visualize cross sections of the cornea, see and measure corneal angles and measure corneal thickness over multiple visits.
OPTOS P200DTx Panoramic Opthalmoscope
Optos is an ultra-widefield retinal imaging that enables eyecare professionals to examine and treat ocular pathology that may first present in the periphery – pathology, which may go undetected using traditional examination techniques and equipment.
It provides high-resolution retinal imaging with more than 80% or 200˚ of the retina in a single capture. Optos imaging modalities are color, red-free, choroidal and autofluorescence.
PanOptic™ Ophthalmoscope WelchAllyn
This device provides us with a good view of the fundus in order to make a sufficient assessment, offering a 25º field of view, resulting in a view of the fundus that’s 5X greater than you see with a standard ophthalmoscope in an undilated eye.

Pentacam HD analyzes the entire anterior segment of the eye, measuring mostly the thickness and the curvature both of anterior and posterior cornea. It uses the Scheimpflug principle as it rotates the surface of the eye, taking up to 50 scans in 2 seconds. Reports of cornea pachymetry, maps front and back cornea, corneal power for normal, post refractive and abnormal surfaces. Moreover, it offers a sensitive detection of thinning disorders (IHA, IHD, Fourier Analysis Display, Corneal Wavefront and Zernike analysis of the total cornea etc.) It is used also to detect early keratoconus and it is applied in nearly all of our patients.
This device is also connected to the Wavelight® laser system-Wavenet, which enables us to transfer automatically data from the Pentacam device to the Wavelight Refractive Suite database.

PAM (Potential Acuity Meter)
This is an instrument for measuring the retinal visual acuity behind a cataract or other opacity. PAM projects a Snellen visual acuity chart or number chart into the eye via a narrow beam of light bypassing the scattering caused by the rest of the cataract, which allows us to have an accurate measurement of the retinal acuity.
PROCYON PUPILOMETER P3000
This device is extremely flexible, allowing the examiner to elicit and measure both the pupil-light and pupil-accommodation reflexes in a single capture. It has 3 illumination levels: Scotopic (0.04 lux), Mesopic Low (0.4 lux) Mesopic high (4.0 lux) + Off. It is also included as a major examination test in our pre operation routine.
RAM (Retina Acuity Meter) AMAoptics
This portable device is used to assess macular function behind the media opacities caused by cataract or posterior capsular opacification, which may help eye specialists to give a more accurate estimate of postoperative acuity results. It combines three basic optical principles : small aperture pinhole, correct visual angle and bright illumination.
Retina Tomograph HRT II – Heidelberg
Heidelberg Retinal Tomography is a diagnostic device (confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscope) that provides us with a precise observation and documentation of the optic nerve head, essential for the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. The HRT image (3-D) can be used to compute things such as the area of the optic disc, the volume of the cup, and the area of the rim around the cup and gives us the ability to compare each scan with a similar one in past and future. All of the above can also be used in retina examination.
SHIN-NIPPON SLM-4000 Autolensmeter
Lensmeter SLM 4000 has easy lens plate that allows you to automatically check whether the lens is a progressive lens or not. FAR POINT and NEAR POINT prescription can be easily measured by directions and a graph display on a LCD screen appears.
Slit Lamp HS BQ900
This slit lamp biomicroscope is intended for use in eye examination. It is used to aid in the diagnosis and documentation of diseases or trauma, which affect the structural properties of the eye. This model combines both keratometer and autorefractometer measurements and we widely use it in our daily exam routine. Due to its more accurate and fast readings there is less chance of eye movement and accommodation.
Stereo Optical Function Vision Analyzer
An Ideal for pre- and post-op cataract, refractive surgery and clinical trials screening device. It includes contrast sensitivity tests in 4 lighting conditions (day & night, with & without glare) with an optional software that illustrates real-world image of patients’ results.
TOPCON CV3000 Phoropter
The CV-3000 Phoropter has fast lens rotation, which provides comfort for both user and patient. Its small optical head enhances patient communication and comfort. It is simple to use and its best quality single parts make the examination even easier.
Ultrascan B-scan – Alcon
The B-scan Ultrasonography technology allows the operator to obtain ultrasound images of the patient’s eye, applied on the outside of the closed eyelid, offers two-dimensional cross-sectional view of the eye as well as the orbit. It can offers accurately view of the lens, choroid, sclera, vitreous and retina, which helps in diagnosing retinal detachment. The optional A-scan Biometry and B-Biometry features are used to perform axial length measurements, and with the data it can calculate the patient’s IOL power requirements.
VARIO (WaveLight® laser system)
This is an exceptional corneal toporaphywhich provides us with a complete spectrum of optical measurements, data analysis and image representations. It gives us automatic keratoconus recognition, Zernike and Fourier analysis, automatic eye recognition OD/OS and Pupil center shift function over multiple lighting conditions. Due to its special reports on decentrations, keratoconus, astigmatism and tilt it is used in topography-guided procedures.

Visual Field analyzer – Humphrey’s
The Analyser can be used for screening, monitoring and assisting in the diagnosis of certain eye conditions mostly affect the visual field. There are numerous testing protocols to select (10-2, 24-2, 30-2, SITA-Standard or Fast), based on the purpose and the condition (neuro-ophthalmic conditions, retinal, macula and glaucoma). Before putting the patient onto the machine, the requirements of the test itself are clearly explained. The patient is instructed to maintain fixation on the central target and is given a buzzer to only press when they see a light stimulus. It is important for the patient to blink normally, relax and maintain concentration throughout the test. This will increase the reliability of results.

WaveLight FS200 Femtosecond Laser
Ergonomically optimized to combine with the WaveLight® EX500 Excimer Laser within the WaveLight® Refractive Suite, the WaveLight® FS200 Femtosecond Laser is designed to provide both the surgeon’s practice and patients with an impressive standard of precision and reliability. With a short “suction on” to “suction off” time, the system enables standard flap creation in approximately 6.0 seconds. Additionally to circular and custom-shape flap parameters it includes intracorneal ring segments, lamellar and penetrating keratoplasties.
