Dr Kanellopoulos has been a pioneer
surgeon in laser cataract surgery. He has been one
of the initial surgeon-investigators, an investigative
supervisor for 25 international laser cataract surgery
centers.
He has presented the excellent
and promising clinical results with laser cataract
surgery worldwide, and has published this innovative
work in peer-reviewed journals.
Recently he became the first surgeon worldwide to complete
a laser cataract and intraocular lens procedure through
a tiny incision under 2mm.
